A SIX GIRL BAND MAY HAVE MADE JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR!
There are bands that are seldomly as good live as their studio records. Also there is amazing handwritten music that appears here and there. My theory is that there is a girlband that plays better than the males of their time, but they are religious, and they are sexers. It is no secret that there is trade in females. That is for sex, not for robbing them of their compositions. The music i hear is as good as classical music, the way they play is as good as jazz. The music is spoiled by rock parts and loud guitarists playing it badly. I like Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash, may he play live forever, but i hope somebody will take his place, or that he can play on a seat.

The solo is bottleneck, the Flying V, if Andy played bottleneck he would do it every gig. Laurie would do it too, or not? The end solo of Blowin' free in the studio, that's a bottleneck solo, isn't it? I never saw it on bottleneck live. In the studio they do it, why not live? Imagine two girls, Gaby singing it, Sahabi singing playing along, along singing solo by Sahabi, the two together, super solo Gaby!
Born Yesterday, Steve Lukather Candyman. I always play the 6th track, which is the best jazzmetal i ever heard, this is the 3d. The ending is jazz, it has horns too. Now if a person is so good in the studio, even jazz, he must be live, not the persons hired for it.
2 acoustic guitar pieces, first a duo, then a single guitar. Then a tune with a violinsolo, broken off by the guitar falling in. This album was recorded in the Netherlands, he was playing in New York those days. Narada Micheal Walden drums! The sound is very bad. ('Gattox' is remarkably free in licks for Allan Holdsworth, 'Velvet Darkness' has a remarkable intro lick to the solo, may be Sahabi.)

some music i like very much: varied 60's, Pentangle, Fairport Convention, Fleetwood Mac, Wishbone Ash, Embryo, British symphonic, Joni Mitchell. After that a selection of Jesus Christ Superstar with Judas singing on front and as last, not the filmcrew arriving and leaving, sorry. After that good Dutch music and classic hits that are classical, like Je t'aime of Serge Gainsbourg.
if you play the Wishbone Ash videos, you get tunes more times in different versions, downpage is a full concert and a shortened. Also possibe to play psychedelic with Embryo/National Health and an Iona concert. The maker of it may be the Joni double album. When you can write music you can also just play, composers are good players often. Wishbone Ash was best on the record. In the 'shortened' you see new guitarist Mark playing better than Andy. The 'complete' is good, except the intro of Throw down the sword.

remarkable bottleneck theme, played with a second bottleneck line later. If both can play bottleneck, duo guitar is more beautifull. Live he doesn't play the bottleneck theme. That's what you want to hear, it's the beauty of the song. I sing the theme on the street.
Pentangle / Fairport Convention / Fleetwood Mac
folkrock mania in the UK started with the Soho guitar of Pentangle. First a live duo, then the BBC series sound that became a single.
Pentangle was acoustic, Fairport Convention was an electric band that started to play folk too, here's four beautifull songs:

Sandy Denny had a solo career, seventies. This is a song in the same style and atmosphere as Fairport Convention.

Richard Thompson, who was in Fairport Convention from the beginning, had a solo career with his wife Linda. Hand written music.

There's Old Grey Whistle Test video, but it's playback, both the 1971 and the 1977. Old Grey Whistle test is live. Why would they ever playback? Simply play it! Seeing the second video, Laurie plays the solo of Half past lovin', but i never saw a live video of it.

documentary with Blowin' free, The Pilgrim (the one i comment 2 videos later) Phoenix end, very good. Live Dates had two pictures inside, one of Ted, the other a pic of the band. The other picture had to be Andy. Also Ted had to stay, he was a star in the band.
Ted sings it, like in the Old grey whistle test playback video. In the Swiss concert above Andy also sang lead. So all three sang.
This is of the 4th album, it had 4 heavy and 4 soft songs. Nice it were the 2 sides of the album. This needed female backing vocals
Ted plays the intro not so well. The first part doesn't melt into the second, on audio you hear them do it with two guitars, but on the live album Live Dates it's a fade/swell. second 4. Andy, Laurie, Martin, Steve. Ash has 2 times 4 good records and a live double. There had to come a second live album after the four albums with Laurie Wisefield, to have the best songs in one production. But a weak studio album came after it.
Mart left, the singer, Andy has a nice voice for a lot of songs, he sings Phoenix better. This is of the 11th studio album Number the brave, one of the three good songs of it. Of Rainstorm i see no live version at all. Later bass player Tony Kishman was a good bassplayer/singer, video Live at Mansfield 1998, of the fan meeting day. There's also black and white Ohne Maulkorb of 2nd four, which is very good, the days of Just testing, the 10th studio album. Of Rockpalast Rest in Peace is very good, better than Winterland.

the new guitarist of Andy plays Ted's Phoenix well always, but this time is super! The end misses, but they play in different ways
only half an hour Andy's Ash, after the rest is a whole concert. It's parts of songs, also Warrior, Throw down the sword of Argus. FUBB and The way of the world are very good. Hope Andy takes a chair and keeps playing, or picks his replacement, nice music! FUBB is on the complete other concert too, i watch it on YouTube, it has very good (French) sound & vision, and songchoice, nice.
Laurie played with Tina Turner, he plays a solo in Addicted to love, end Proud Mary + intro and solo of next, (and Steamy Windows, which is not on this video, it isn't the full concert), he's on the right. The one playing Private Dancer on the left. There are no Ikettes.
Andy's Ash. In all my dreams you rescue me / Runaway behind eachother, very good. Lost connection halfway Runaway, shit. Will watch it on YouTube. Mark is a super laptop steelguitarist, the best i ever heard, in one of the first 10. Ron Wood can play it too, the anniverary bootleg. So Ron has a nice rhythm/solo in Mark. Laptop steel is also a nice rhythmguitar, i'll buy me one, i play E-bow with it! What would Adrian Belew do with a lapsteel? It's an unbelievable soundmaker, but it's a different technique. He works hard. Peter Green had 2 guitarists, for good arrangements you can have a bunch of guitarists, people sing close harmony. Ted had to stay in Ash. He had his solos, three guitarists are nice to play the studio arrangements. Live instrumental FUBB would be much more interesting with three. Jimi Hendrix had to have two guitarists along. Jimi ought to have been the guitarist of Bob Marley! Jimi with Buddy Miles was great, why not a Soul Train, 3 singers, with Robert Cray? For a soultrain you need four in a nice dress, why not James Brown, he plays keys, Buddy can drum along in instrumental parts too. In the intro of The king will come of Live Dates of Ash you hear a third guitar. In the anniversary bootleg is a second cam part. Why? It's a concert seen from the audience. Mick Taylor plays along, Keith Richards sings too. The Ash concert has an extra, The way of the world. Jailbait and Blowin free are very relaxed.

3 poppy albums of Embryo, same period. Apocalypso: side A 4 songs, side B has a flute intro, 2 longer tracks, end India + extras. Vocals+drums+vibraphone+organ Christian Burchardt. Roman Bunka vocals+guitar, 2nd drummer in the band Butze Fischer.
Maria Archer on vocals, Edgar Hofman, plays no flute but saxophone. 3 tunes per side. More jazzy, no India part like Apo-Calypso. Maria had to sing the first song, it's a song for a girl, it could have been a female voice record. She reminds me of Ring my bell, the same vibrato. There is very good saxophone soloing, and later also guitar soloing. It reminds me of Weather Report, same style.
with 2 saxophone players, Charlie Mariano plays the solo in the first song Every day is okay, Edgar 2/last, Charlie 3. Edgar violin. Surfing + next is shit. Original artists mustn't be forced to play songs of others. The guitar (!)/sitar/vocal don't sound like Roman.
symphonic rock music with a theme Tenemos Roads. The lyrics are on the web. No super solists, but beautifull music well played. It's handwritten music, but some parts are weak, cut it out, and some are not the same atmosphere, like directly after the end of the Tenemos grand version, opening side A of the record. At the start of ending tune Tenemos roads i'd say you hear Embryo. The start of the tune before it, Brujo, opening side B, seems an Embryo tune. Not handwritten music, but a jam theme with soloing.

the girl singing along is important as a keyboard sound wizard, also almost a frontman. Steve's soloing is at times very good, but not always perfect. The orchestral parts are very good. Of this album Fish Rising is also Creation Suite, music of the same high quality

The Jeff Beck group/The Doors/Iona/Joni Mitchell/J.C.S.
Studio version, live Jeff plays this music very badly at Beat Club of the German television. Germany was a very important market. He just had to play the melody of the intro, that's easy. Good album, The line: 'do the thing we feel, no matter most of all', must be: 'the things we feel that matter most of all'. 'We feel no matter most of all' is no english! But 'that matter most of all' is okay. Foreigners?
the guitar solo is giving you a bad trip, special but ugly. Is the text against violance or in favour of it? The voice sounds threatening. 'We want the world and we want it now'. That's not my idea! We live in this as a family world together, one has more than the other. Of Matching Moles, a band of which National Health originates, is an album Little red record. Robert Wyatt of Soft Machine, who founded it, is a communist. This is sex music, orgies are with rich people. This may be the reason to seize the girls, like the song Money too. That may be a motive to have playback bands/bad parts, you get quarrels over the music, through the music itself.
celtic music int the same atmosphere, but religious, an expression of feelings for a pilgrimage island. i go out after 5 tunes. Best make a selection of the good music. It's so loud like symphonic orchestra loud parts. At night you're always at the remote volume. Why not play symphonic music with just as many players as there are lines/parts, and mix it well, to get equal volume? You miss the best parts of the Iona music, because the volume is down. Like with symphonic / jazzrock, very loud parts make you turn it down.

If Wheather Report is Burchhardt /Bunka bass/Hoffman sax it's Bunka/Hofman. Bunka plays the first and last song of Surfin' fretbass.

In the following video Jesus throws over merchant's tables. I imagine Jesus setting the birds free, throwing over seems awkward to me. When that is so, i remember that our chronicles are not reliable. We have three gospels more or less having the same stories.

When you hear the ending of this song it seems to me this is the original ending. The intro of this song would have been the right intro if it were a little longer. Like this it's a rock opera. The songs by Pilate and Herod are below the level. When you leave out the bad stuff, JCS is better than the Messiah, which has a lot of boring stuff too. According to me, one genius may have written all music above here, if she can play guitar, keys, violin and write music, may be Gaby. How can others spoil such a talent? Because of sex slavery. Christians trading sexgirls say sex is bad, so they can do anything to sex workers. Even punish them, when they were forcing the girls to it. So there was religious female music better than the male/worldly, but it was faked. They don't want it for real, they don't want women.

Anita Meyer was one of the three female singers of Bram Vermeulen's Rainbow Train from Voorburg, i saw a street gig there. Bram wrote The eyes of Jenny and True love that's a wonder, nice late sixties song with a good solo (Hans Hollestelle, studio guitarist), you can also hear him with Peter Koelewijn Als ik God was and Boudewijn de Groot De eenzame fietser, saw him live with Sandy Coast.
i was wrong about the fact that the fluteplayer of Flairck's first album was a girl, the girl with the classical hit. Still they never made such a good album as their first one Variaties op een dame. The quality of handwritten classical music. Later it's balkan folk music.
the single of Jan Akkerman has the theme with guitar, but no solo. The Focus one up here has a solo but the theme with flute.

do you see two guitarists? This is the studio version, so look out for the second solo! Never seen Jan that fast! Solo 1 and 3 Sahabi, solo 2 Gaby i guess. The bass player has a Jack Bruce like solo album. Other nice bands are Earth and Fire (symphonic), Q65 (song Revolution) Supersister, (trip) Gruppo Sportivo, The Nits, the Mo (new wave) CCC Inc. Shocking Blue (hippy). Earth & Fire is not of the same composer, but sounds like the same guitarist as solo 1 and 3 of Hocus Pocus. The band is from the area Voorburg, where me and Sahabi lived, as Sandy Coast too. Shocking Blue is also not so complex. Q65's is just an original tune. Interesting are the 4 studio albums of Alquin, like Best kept secret. The band Solution is beautifull, but not the same music. With Jesus Christ Superstar we see there can be parts fit into it, or a band can have a few very good tunes by someone else. The Hague area has the Golden Earring, Anouk, Shocking Blue, Earth & Fire, Sandy Coast, Q65, Kane, Alquin. it's the most important pop city of the Netherlands.

the LP of Brainbox has the name of Rudy de Queljoe. who replaced Jan Akkerman, but he plays a different style, not so fast.

One guitarist has two distortions, the other only one, he has to play all notes right hand. i think it possible one person played all the soloos of the album. But i guess the violin is Jean-Luc, it isn't as good as the violin solo of Allan Holdsworth on his solo album Velvet Darkness on top of this page. I never found Eddy Jobson so very good on violin either.
Pop can be as good as classical. Women can be better then men. Religious can be better than antireligious. Sexpeople can be best.
This page is about a singer/songwriter i know from the Jesus People in 1977, Gaby. It's three girls it seems, Peter Greene/Jeremy Spencer/Danny Kirwan, Andy Powell/Ted Turner/Laurie Wisefield. Then Maria Archer of Embryo may stand for a keyboard girl with remarkable hits, her way of singing and playing. Then there's a bass and drums, probably six girls. The Shadows would have been nice with a double lead, if Gaby could write music, and there was a third girl. Wishbone Ash would have been nicer too. With Steve Hillage you hear a double guitar and a keys player,but it could be three guitars and a keys. Or more of them on keys probably. You can see the later Fleetwood Mac as the new Fairport Convention. You can see Fairport as the electric Pentangle. Hearing Hocus Pocus one of the girls could play faster than anybody in those days. They would have played their beautifull music better than men !

At Wishbone Ash i stop. A band makes group products, it's often not possible to say who wrote what. But there's complex harmonies in the doubleguitars, except the intro of The king will come (and Front page news), the second voice, and in the chords they play. Also the soloos of Ted Turner in the quiet parts of Warrior, Blowin'free and Ballad of the beacons are composed soloos. It's a pity there isn't a keyboard along, and a third guitar as an extra harmony voice, and that they aren't girls. Male suppression!

this is a remix, the original song is a bad production. It seems to be a remix by the Mo themselves. Famous in Asia, not in Holland.
this is what i associate with the female voice of the Mo, experimental music, original melody, very good song, but not yet finished. So then there's Gaby with beautifull guitar chords and playing, and Nancy with keys arrangements, Conny with songs, a team.

nice beat to Def Rhymz. These three songs are remarkably good R&B from Holland. Def Rhymz is very bad. Just the chorus is good. The chorus is "everybody loves Doekoe (surinam for money) everybody loves money, but money doesn't make you happy, it's just happiness that counts". The Mo song Horse race is a bad name. I would call it "Horses do the running". It's not about a horse race. That name gives the impression that it is a fast song. No, it's a female song about them always having to carry the male and run.
